Metrolinx is accepting Tenders for Malton GO Station and Track Upgrades.
A Mandatory Information Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on May 12, 2020. Failure of Contractor to attend from the time the meeting is called to order until the meeting is adjourned will result in disqualification from bidding. Refer to Section 3.0 of Instruction to Bidders for details.
An Optional Site Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2020. Please contact Procurement Officer for Time information. Refer to Tender Document for exact meeting location. For safety purposes please adhere to Site Meeting procedure Section 3.0 of Instruction to Bidders.
Contractors must wear hard hats, steel toe safety boots, reflective safety vests and protective eyewear in order to sign in for the site visit. Failure to satisfy these requirements will result in exclusion from the site.
Bidders to confirm attendance to optional site visit to the Procurement Officer by submitting via email a release of liability form and a health screening form.
Each Tender must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $750,000.00 in the form of a bid bond or certified cheque payable to Metrolinx.
ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSION will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 2, 2020.

Your Submission for this opportunity must be sent to Metrolinx through the use of Metrolinx MERX EBS Portal. Bidders shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their Submission using Metrolinx MERX EBS Portal by the Closing, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Only Contractors who have achieved at least one (1) of the following safety requirements will be considered for award of this Contract:

- CORTM Certified status with the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA); or
- OHSAS 18001 certification; or
- ISO 45001 certification; or
- Out-of-Province COR™ Reciprocity (for bidding purposes only) through IHSA. For more information on COR™ Reciprocity please reference the IHSA website at https://www.ihsa.ca.
Metrolinx reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders at its sole discretion.
