Metrolinx is accepting bids (“Requests”) for Construction Supervision, Contract Administration and Engineering Services during Construction of New GO Station at Bloomington
Proponents shall attend a mandatory site meeting as follows:
Date: June 23, 2016
Time: 10:00 am Toronto, ON time
Location: Bloomington/Highway 404, west of Hwy 404 and south of Bloomington Road and east of CN track
Directions: Exit Highway 404 at Bloomington Road West. Continue west bound on Bloomington Road under Highway 404. Entrance to the site is on the south side of Bloomington Road at the Highway 404 on ramp, just east of the CN Rail tracks.
Instructions: Bidders shall be required to walk on uneven ground, including a steep grade.
Parking on Site is limited. Where at all possible, Bidders are requested to car pool.
Bidders shall note the Site is located in an active CN Right of Way and is considered an active CN Construction Site.
Failure of a Proponent to attend the mandatory site/information meeting, be registered and be present for the entire meeting from the time the meeting is called to order until the meeting is adjourned shall automatically result in suspension of their eligibility to remit a Submission for the Services.
All Proponents, their employees, agents and Subconsultants, shall wear appropriate reflective safety wear at all times while they are on the site including hardhats, reflective safety vests, safety shoes and protective eyewear that might be required. Failure to comply shall result in exclusion from the site. Proponents shall supply their own safety wear. Metrolinx shall not supply any safety wear.
