Metrolinx is accepting Tenders for construction of a new GO Station at Bloomington Road and Highway 404
A Mandatory Site Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the Bloomington Side Road and Highway 404.
Entrance to the site is on the south side of Bloomington Side Road at the south west quadrant of Bloomington Side Road and the southbound on-ramp to Highway 404, just east of the CN Rail tracks.
Failure of Contractor to be present and registered from the time the meeting is called to order until the meeting is adjourned will result in disqualification from bidding.
Contractors must wear hard hats, safety boots, safety vests and have safety glasses with them at the site meeting. Failure to satisfy these requirements will result in exclusion from the site.
Each Tender must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $750,000.00 in the form of a bid bond or certified cheque payable to Metrolinx.
ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSION will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on October 4, 2016.

Your Submission for this opportunity must be sent to Metrolinx through the use of MERX EBS. Bidders shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their Submission using MERX EBS by the Closing, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Only Contractors who possess the following experience and qualifications will be considered for award of this Contract:
- Satisfactorily completed in the sole opinion of Metrolinx, three (3) contracts for work similar in scope, magnitude and complexity as “the Work of this Contract”;
- Satisfactorily completed, in the sole opinion of Metrolinx, three (3) projects of similar scope, magnitude and complexity as “the Work of this Contract” managing an active railway right-of-way including Canadian National Railway projects;
- The Bidder shall be CORTM certified; and
- The physical and financial resources to sustain and complete the Work.
Metrolinx reserves the right to reject any or all Tenders at its sole discretion.
