Engineering Services For CANPA Plant Renewal
Metrolinx is accepting bids (“Requests”) for the design, construction supervision and contract administration to upgrade the existing Railway Infrastructure at the Canpa Control Location on the Oakville Subdivision, in order to accommodate future routing and speed requirements for the Lakeshore West Service, and detour routes via the GO Owned Canpa Spur, as more particularly described in this Tender Document as required by Metrolinx, which Services relates to the CANPA Switch Plant Renewal and Upgrade., which Services relates to CANPA Plant Renewal.

Request submissions will be accepted until the Closing of 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 8, 2016, via Merx electronic bid submission (EBS) and will be opened by Metrolinx staff as soon as is practicable after the designated Closing. Details on where and when vendors can obtain information on bids received, will be made available on Metrolinx’s website.
Please note, effective Monday, February 10th, 2014 for any newly issued tenders Metrolinx will no longer be conducting Public Openings.
Only Consultants who possess the following experience and qualifications will be considered for award of this Contract:
The Consultant must demonstrate that it possesses the following experience and qualifications:
- satisfactorily completed in the sole opinion of Metrolinx, a contract for work similar in scope and nature as “the Services of this Contract”;
- have satisfactory experience as determined by Metrolinx in the heavy rail industry, in particular to design and inspection of track and signal components; and
- the physical and financial resources to sustain and complete the Services;
