Metrolinx is accepting Submissions for Prequalification for Design Build Construction Modular Parking Structures at various Metrolinx Locations
Please be advised that, as per the October 1, 2019 changes to the Construction Act, RSO 1990, c C30, the Terms and Conditions in this solicitation contain new requirements.

Your Submission for this opportunity must be sent to Metrolinx through the use of MetrolinxMERX EBS. Bidders shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their Submission using MetrolinxMERX EBS by the Closing, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Only Contractors who possess the following experience and qualifications will be considered for award of this Contract:

- the necessary resources to sustain and complete the Project to the satisfaction of Metrolinx;
- 10 years of experience in civil, earthworks and grading in construction projects;
- 15 years of experience of working within an active busy public area (i.e.: transit station, parking facilities, commercial public setting) with construction concurrent to operations;
- experience designing and constructing multi- level parking structures in the last 10 years;
- experience working on projects where adjoining properties and the surrounding community may be sensitive to the Project to be provided, and a demonstrated ability to address concerns promptly and fairly;
- experience working with utilities companies and municipal or provincial regulatory bodies to obtain permits required for the Project;
- working with utility companies to protect and relocate underground and overhead utilities;
- work experience designing, obtaining approvals for storm water lines in various Municipalities; and
- experience of working in an active Class 1 rail corridor environment an asset
Metrolinx reserves the right to reject any or all Submissions at its sole discretion.
