Metrolinx is accepting Submissions for Construction of the Fourth Track from Lansdowne to Black Creek
An Optional Site Meeting will be held at 1877 Dundas St. West, Toronto on October 15, 2021
An Optional Commercial Confidential meeting will be held between November 17, 2021 and November 23, 2021.
Refer to the Tender document for Optional Site Meeting location and instructions regarding a mandatory COVID 19 measures screening sheet, release of liability form to be completed and submitted to the Procurement Representative prior to this Mandatory Site Meeting as well as proof at the site that the Bidder has completed the Metrolinx Personal Track Safety (PTS) course that will be required in order to attend.
Bidders must wear full Class 3 PPE including Safety boots with 6” ankle support, safety glasses – non tinted/ mirrored, safety hat, Class 3 level 2 HVSA Safety shirt with reflectors on front and sleeves and Class 3 level 2 HVSA safety pants with reflectors and a face mask. Failure to comply shall result in exclusion from the site.
Please be advised that, as per the October 1, 2019 changes to the Construction Act, RSO 1990, c C30, the Terms and Conditions in the Form of Tender for this solicitation contain new requirements.
Each Submission must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $500,000 (five hundred thousand dollars) in the form of a bid bond payable to Metrolinx.
ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSION will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on January 26, 2022.

Your Submission for this opportunity must be sent to Metrolinx through the use of MetrolinxMERX EBS. Bidders shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their Submission using MetrolinxMERX EBS by the Closing, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Only Contractors[i] who possess the following experience and qualifications will be considered for award of this Contract:

- Bidder shall have satisfactorily completed a minimum of three (3) projects similar to “the Work of this Contract” and
- achieved at least one (1) of the following safety requirements:

- CORTM Certified status with the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA); or
- ISO 45001 certification; or
- Out-of-Province COR™ Reciprocity (for bidding purposes only) through IHSA. For more information on COR™ Reciprocity please reference the IHSA website at https://www.ihsa.ca.
Metrolinx reserves the right to reject any or all Submissions at its sole discretion.
