Request to be Prequalified for Track Protection Subcontractor Services for Metrolinx Owned Rail Corridors.
Metrolinx invites interested Subcontractors to be prequalified for the provision of track protection subcontractor services which will provide quotes and perform the work as a subcontractor to a general contractor for various projects undertaken by Metrolinx on Metrolinx owned Rail Corridors and yard locations within Metrolinx’s current and future service areas. Such projects may include, but not necessarily be limited to: station platform activities, track and signal construction, grade separations, and bridge widening and construction as more particularly described in this Prequalification Document as required by Metrolinx.
Pre-qualification Submissions will be accepted until the Closing of 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 29, 2016, via Merx Electronic Bid Submission (EBS) and will be opened by Metrolinx staff as soon as is practicable after the designated Closing.

Qualifications and Experience:
- CORTM “Registered”
- Fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in carrying out track protection projects within the Rail Contractor environment, involving track protection flagging services in an active Railway Right of Way.
- Experience in satisfactorily and competently performing Work similar in type, size, estimated value and complexity as the Work being contemplated.
