This brief open forum presentation will provide context on the materiality assessment Metrolinx is conducting with the support of Deloitte. Following the presentation, you will be given a survey to gather your input on Metrolinx's potential ESG material topics and strategy. This survey can be completed in your own time by May 8th.
Materiality assessment context
Deloitte is conducting a materiality assessment on behalf of Metrolinx to gain an updated understanding of the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues that currently or are reasonably likely to impact Metrolinx's business. A materiality assessment is a process that involves asking an organization's stakeholders to identify the set of topics that will have the greatest impact on the organization’s success, as well as on the economy, environment, and society.
