Description --> Metrolinx is accepting Submissions for the Provision of Building Envelope and Structural Engineering Consulting Services.
Metrolinx is a Crown agency of the Government of Ontario under the Metrolinx Act, 2006, reporting to the Ministry of Transportation. It was created to improve the coordination and integration of all modes of transportation in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA).
The Metrolinx mandate includes delivering the best possible transportation services today while leading the way to an even better, more convenient service tomorrow; making the best possible use of public transportation investment dollars; and measurably improving the quality of life in the region.
The objective of this Request to Qualify and Quote (RQQ) is to solicit proposals from Proponents to establish a Vendor of Record (“VOR”) for the provision of technical engineering services on an emergent basis over a term of two (2) years.
The requirements are more particularly described in Scope of Work of this Request Document.
Only Proponents who possess the following experience + qualifications will be considered for award of this Contract :
- Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated design and construction administration experience specializing in sub-disciplines of civil engineering such as (but not limited to) building envelope design and structural engineering;
- Must have experience in developing / writing technical standards.
- Expertise and Relevant Experience: Provide a short narrative demonstrating expertise in civil engineering, site servicing, stormwater management, traffic engineering, and parking design, including a summary of past projects and relevant experience that align with the Scope of Work. Metrolinx reserves the right to reject any or all Submissions at its sole discretion.
