Metrolinx is accepting Submissions for Alliance for the Design and Construction of the GO Expansion East Harbour Transit Hub
Please respond with intend to bid via MERX by the Bid Intent Deadline of June 16th, 2022
This Request for Proposals is issued in respect of the project described in Schedule 7 – Summary of Project (the “Project”) by Metrolinx to prepare and submit competitive Submissions to form an Alliance for the Design and Construction of the GO Expansion East Harbour Transit Hub (“EHTH”).
The objective of this Request to be Prequalified (Step 1 Process) is to develop a Prequalified List of Contractors, with the necessary
experience, qualifications and resource availability to deliver the “Project” to be issued via the Step 2 Process.
Please be advised that, as per the October 1, 2019 changes to the Construction Act, RSO 1990, c C30, the Terms and Conditions in the Form of Tender for this solicitation contain new requirements.
ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on June 16th, 2022.

Your Submission for this opportunity must be sent to Metrolinx through the use of MetrolinxMERX EBS. Proponents shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their Submission using MetrolinxMERX EBS by the Closing, in accordance with the Instructions to Proponents.
Only Proponents who possess the following qualifications will be considered:

- achieved at least 1 of the following safety requirements:
- COR™ Certified status with the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA); or
- ISO 45001 certification; or
- Out-of-Province COR™ Reciprocity (for bidding purposes only) through IHSA. For more information on COR™ Reciprocity please reference the IHSA website at https://www.ihsa.ca.
Metrolinx reserves the right to reject any or all Submissions at its sole discretion.
