Supply and Installation of a Sanitizing System That Converts Water into Aqueous Ozone
Metrolinx has a mandate to manage its operations in a manner that prevents impacts on the environment, integrates environmental considerations into its decision making processes and fosters continual improvement of its environmental performance.There is an opportunity to replace traditional chemical cleaners that can have negative impacts on both the natural environment and human health with a sanitizing system that converts water into aqueous ozone, a multipurpose sustainable cleaning agent.
The scope of this Request for Information (RFI) is to establish the cleaner vendors’ capacity to supply, install, and maintain a stabilized aqueous ozone technology for multi-purpose cleaning at various locations across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton area (GTHA).Currently, the Station Services portfolio comprises of 67 rail stations, 26 bus terminals and 3 maintenance facilities.
